Here’s a tip for anyone that doesn’t want to drill into plasterboard or drywall to mount an IKEA Skadis pegboard to a wall - use 3M Claw anchors!
Follow the Skadis wall mounting instructions as normal, but instead of using a drill where you’ve put a hole, push a 3M Claw into the same spot instead, like so:
Then place the bracket in the hook part of the anchor and mount the board to the bracket as normal.
It works great! No drilling and the freedom to place the board anywhere on the wall, not just where there’s a wall stud.
There are versions of the 3M Claw that hold up to 30kg, you can get them at any hardware store. The IKEA Skadis stuff is obviously from IKEA
